Our apple trees vary in age between 1 and 11 years, with all trees during the last 5 years being supplied by the golden standard in the industry - Gruber Genetii and Vivai F.illi Zanzi.

The trees are spaced at 1.2 metres (for the older ones) and 0.80 metres from each other, with row spacing of 3.5 metres, which equals between 2800 and 3500 trees per hectare.

We use a Slender Spindle pruning system with a maximum height of 3.8-4 metres. Watering and feeding are carried out by automated drip irrigation systems.

Each of the gardens has a built supporting system of concrete pillars with a height of 4 metres and is fully covered by anti hail and insect nets. In addition, each one boasts its own infrastructure and personnel so they can all operate independently all year round and throughout all stages of production.

Varieties

The right choice of varieties is one of the most crucial conditions for successfully growing apples. Out selection keeps in mind the specifics of our climate, soil and the coexistence of different trees. Each 8 rows are followed by 2 rows of strong pollinator varieties, and in order to aid pollination we rent bee hives from local bee keepers and let them work alongside us.
